About Us
Hartshill dog kennels and cattery
Hi, and welcome to Hartshill Dog Kennels and Cattery. We are the new owners, Leanne and Aaron Hall, and we took over the business in July 2023 when we moved from the West Midlands to the beautiful Devon countryside.
We have lots of experience handling dogs of all sizes and breeds, and had a small row of kennels in our last property. We breed Old English Bulldogs and currently have four girls and one boy, which I’m sure you will have seen us walking if you have been past the kennels.
As well as running the kennels and cattery, Leanne is also a dog groomer, which is an additional service we are now offering at the kennels. Before having children, Leanne was an orthopaedic nurse and Aaron is a qualified electrician who specialises in Commercial and Industrial services. Please pop in and say ‘hi’ to us!
We provide all beds, bedding, and bowls, but if you did want to bring a few items from home with their scent on them (e.g., favourite toy, a blanket, etc.) then that’s perfectly fine.
All pets must be fully vaccinated and have had their kennel cough vaccine as unfortunately, we can’t accept dogs that haven’t had these.
Kennel cough vaccinations to be given a minimum of two weeks prior to boarding otherwise boarding will not be permitted.
Can you ensure that you bring your pet’s vaccination card with you on the drop-off date.

We currently offer 5 family kennels and 12 single kennels, which all have their own individual runs.

We currently have 10 individual double level chalets, with two chalets that can be joined together into one great big chalet, if needed.

Charlie & Molly Has A Second Home
We left Charlie and Molly for 8 days and we were worried about leaving them as they are so reliant on our love & care. Well, those worries were unnecessary. Leanne and Aaron are just so caring and loving for dogs. When we dropped them off we had a sense of professionalism and their love of dogs. So organised and all they do for the animals in their care is five star. You can always tell how the dogs have been happy because when they come home, they are just so not stressed or unsettled. We will not hesitate in using their services & kindness on a regular basis. Thank you for looking after our babies.
A home from home for my dog
I have been totally impressed by this Kennel. We have, over many years, used many kennels. Never before have I felt my pet was treated so well. He gets daily walks. He is made to feel loved and welcomed by everyone at the kennel.
Lovely people. Lovely buildings and plenty of exercise.

Cancellation Policy
Customers who give 7 days notice or less:
If you give 7 days or less notice of cancellation, you are liable to pay the full balance of your pets stay.
Customers who give 7-14 days notice:
If you give 7 – 14 days notice of a cancellation, you are liable to pay 50% of the final balance of your pets stay.
